Since 1975 our Christmas Appeal has helped thousands of children and families in need from across Liverpool and Greater Merseyside to enjoy this special time of year. We work in partnership with a wide range of local statutory and voluntary sector organisations, schools and community groups to identify families who don’t have the resources to spend on the things that many of us take for granted during the season of goodwill. Using teams of volunteers, we pack large family sized hampers with food and along with toys distribute them in time for Christmas.

At Christmas, our commitment to making sure every penny counts in helping local children and families is at its maximum. Every penny of every £1 you donate goes towards providing struggling local children and families in need with large family sized food hampers and toy parcels.

Each year we aim to deliver at least 1000 hampers across the region. Ultimately though, as our Christmas Appeal is completely self-sustaining, we will only produce what we have been able to raise funds for. Demand at this time of year for our support for families in need always far exceeds the number we are able to help.

Quite simply, without our support these families would face a very bleak and unhappy time. However, with your help we can make Christmas a great deal happier and less stressful for those in need.
