Below you'll find archive images of some of our children’s Christmas parties in the 1970’s, our various residential Centre’s in Scotland, Wales and the Lake District from 1976 onwards, our current home on Back Canning Street, Liverpool, photos from our Christmas Appeals over the years and some of the staff who have worked for us over the last four decades.

Christmas

KIND has helped to make Christmas special for thousands of disadvantaged children and families ever since it was founded in 1975. In this gallery are photographs from some of our 1970's children's Christmas parties through to our annual packing of food hampers for local families in need.

Back Canning Street

Since 1997 we have been based at our Centre in Back Canning Street, Liverpool. The archive photographs in this gallery show some of our work with local children over that period and illustrate how the site has been developed over the last 2 decades.

Redridge

Though the majority of our work now takes place at our Centre in Back Canning Street, we still run a summer residential programme during August of each year. Since 2008 we have used the Redridge Centre in Welshpool as our annual residential centre.
